The Silky Softness of Peruvian Pima is prized the world over for its softness and brilliant luster.Since 1986, Our Peruvian manufacturer has produced organic cotton under the White Cotton brand in southern Peru, in cooperation with small farmers who own their land.

Our Peruvian Pima Sateen cotton sheets are certified organic to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). This certification guarantees not only the traceability of the organic cotton we use, but also our fair labor standards, the sustainability of all the products used, and our respect for the environment.

The Wild Cotton Project

The Wild Cotton project began in 1994, when the Peruvian government decided to promote the substitution of coca leaf plantations for alternative products in the rainforest. It came to there attention that cotton had been grown in the area for many centuries and in a completely natural way. They certified a small group of farmers and began to promote the product with our clients around the world with a great response.

Today, the cotton is harvested and cleaned by hand, which results in a beautiful gleaming white, superior quality fabric that will give you years of sleeping pleasure. All sheets are 250-thread count, pre-shrunk and available in standard sizes.

What is percale?

Percale is a woven, plain-weave cotton fabric. It is smooth and firm, with no gloss. Percale is known as a cool, crisp fabric, great for warm nights and hot sleepers.
In the world of cotton bedding, percale sets the standard. This basic, classic weave has a crisp, cool hand. It is soft, but has body - a perfect choice for warmer weather. Available in flat sheets, fitted sheets and pillow cases. (No duvet covers or shams) White or Natural.

What is sateen?

Sateen is a weave in which many threads are aligned tightly together in the vertical direction, creating a flat, smooth, shiny and very soft surface on one side of the fabric and a slightly matte one on the other. We love sateen for its ability to hold brilliant and beautiful colors while resisting wrinkling.
Sateen—This two-sided fabric is absolutely lustrous on one side, matte on the other. It dyes beautifully and resists wrinkles. Our sateen sheets have a silky hand and an ideal density for cool-weather sleeping. .

What is flannel?

Flannel is a medium-weight, plain-weave fabric typically made from cotton. It is brushed on both sides to raise the fibers, creating a supple, fuzzy surface and an extremely soft feel. If you look closely, the fuzzy hairs of the cotton resemble mist rising off a pond in the early morning. These fuzzy hairs are what make flannel so cozy.

Flannel—Twill flannel is constructed in a diagonal weave that makes it both exceedingly soft and pliable. At 5.8 oz. per square meter, it is uniquely light weight. Add two-sided napping, and you have a flannel that is delectable all year long. You truly have to see and feel this flannel to believe it could be so luxurious. Natural color.
